Dress Code

The California Club upholds a standard of decorum and respect among its Members, Privilege Holders, and Guests, emphasizing dignity and mutual respect. A dress code is in place to maintain these standards across different areas of the club:

  • First, Second & Third Floors (excluding Third Floor Bar & Deck):
Attire should reflect good taste, including collared shirts, slacks or khaki pants. Denim, untucked shirts, t-shirts, shorts, hoodies, sports jerseys, track suits, flip flops, hats, and athletic shoes are not permitted.
  • Third Floor Bar & Deck:
Along with collared shirts and slacks or khaki pants, tasteful denim (not distressed, ripped, or defaced) is acceptable. T-shirts, shorts, hoodies, sports jerseys, flip flops, hats, track suits, and athletic shoes are not allowed.
  • Ground Floor, Overnight Room Floors & Seventh Floor Fitness Center:
While the dress code standards do not apply in these areas, individuals must adhere to them when accessing the First, Second, or Third Floors.

By adhering to these guidelines, all members can contribute to the preservation of the club's customs and traditions, ensuring a pleasant and respectful environment for all.
