About the speaker
Dr. Brandon Andrew Robinson is an Assistant Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of California, Riverside. Brandon received their Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. They are the author of Coming Out to the Streets: LGBTQ Youth Experiencing Homelessness and the co-author of Race & Sexuality. In addition to these two books, Brandon has published in a variety of peer-reviewed academic journals and in other outlets as well. Brandon’s research and writing focus on working toward social change and queer and trans liberation.
