About the speaker
Katya Pronichenko studies Environmental Science and Geography at Dartmouth College. As an environmental activist she regularly volunteers at the Sierra Club, the Environmental Defense Fund, and at local organic farms and gardens. When she is not working, studying, volunteering or writing about activism, she loves to spend time in nature. One of her favorite pastimes is scaling the heights of mountain tops and appreciating the grand scale of the Earth's natural wonders.
Katya is a past LA5 Scholarship recipient.
