LA5 is delighted to recognize Betsy Ulf, a Paul Harris Fellow and wife of our Past President, Paul Harris Fellow and Foundation Fellow Frank Ulf who served as President of LA5 in Rotary Year 1981 – 1982, sadly Frank passed away in 2016.

Betsy was recently named one of 2022’s Most Well-Mannered Persons in the San Gabriel Valley by the Southern California News Group.

In Rotary’s earlier days Rotary Clubs throughout the world recognized the wives of male as “Rotary Ann’s.” Betsy was certainly one of LA5’s most distinguished First Lady’s and very active Rotary Ann serving with distinction alongside her dear husband President Frank.

Southern California News Group cited Betsy’s motto for her life as “Service Above Self” (sound familiar?) and went on to describe her as one the most well-mannered nicest people who is unmatched for her gracious entertaining.
