Here is your less than 2-week reminder that we are collecting things for the military families at Camp Pendleton on Saturday, April 2nd from 9am to 3pm, at Hawthorne High School. See the attached flyer for the address and list of things we are looking for.

In addition to the things on the list we are collecting nonperishable food items (there is increasing food insecurity due to rising prices of everything), twin mattresses and box springs (no frames please) and bicycles (the cost of gas is fueling a demand for alternate transportation). If you have a bicycle to donate, let me know. I am taking a trailer of bike donations to the base on Friday March 25th.
