I hope you were able to spend some quality time with family, friends, and loved ones over the holidays. I’ve been looking forward to kicking off January with you at our next Rotary luncheon and celebrating the good things that will come our way in 2022!

That said, with the rapidly increasing spread of the Omicron variant of COVID, the Executive Committee and I have made the tough decision to offer a Zoom only option for this meeting. We feel this abundance of caution is the right thing to do for our members, guests, California Club staff and community.

Our hope is that the holiday COVID surge will slow and we will resume meeting in person again on January 28th. Until then, I hope you will join me this Friday for our first Rotary meeting of 2022 on Zoom where we virtually welcome Guest Speaker Professor Dan Schnur.
