Adaeze Cadet is the Design Principal for HOK’s Los Angeles studio, where she leads the design vision for a diverse portfolio spanning healthcare, science and technology, higher education, commercial, hospitality, and entertainment projects. As a member of HOK’s Board of Directors, Design Board and Marketing Board, she plays a key role in shaping both the firm’s global design direction and the culture of its Los Angeles practice.
With more than 20 years of experience, Adaeze is recognized for delivering innovative, award-winning work that balances bold design thinking with technical rigor. Her approach emphasizes sustainability, community impact, and a strong commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion—resulting in projects that are both high-performing and human-centered.
A licensed architect, speaker, and mentor, Adaeze is actively engaged in advancing the profession. She serves on the USC Architecture Guild Board and is involved with AIA, NOMA, and ULI, while also mentoring emerging designers and serving as a juror for academic institutions.
Her leadership and influence have been widely recognized, including being named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s LA500 in 2025 and 2026, and as a four-time Women of Influence honoree.
