Leadership Opportunities

The city of Los Angeles faces many challenges that can only be addressed through a strong volunteer base. Rotary is engaged in many operations throughout the city that require leadership. There is no better way to publicly demonstrate your personal and professional skills than to step up and take the lead of one of the club’s many service projects.

Networking Opportunities

The Rotary Club of Los Angeles attracts leaders from all major business and community sectors. Professionals from legal and financial services, real estate, healthcare, entertainment, and education gather regularly, not only to serve the community, but to network with one another. Rotary provides a smart way to connect to the most prominent leaders in Los Angeles, as well as community leaders from 34,000 clubs around the world. Members are encouraged to conduct business together.

Special Events

Rotarians enjoy celebrating the good that is being done in the community. The members of the Rotary Club of Los Angeles participate in many special events and celebrations throughout the year in an effort to raise the visibility of good causes. These events attract civic leaders, movie executives, and sports figures. Last year, the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted a special event at Dodger Stadium in which many current and past players participated.

Exclusive Presentations

As one of the oldest and largest service clubs in city, the Rotary Club of LA attracts prominent guest speakers such as Eric Garcetti, Richard Riordan, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Jeanie Buss, and fellow Rotarians, District Attorney Jackie Lacey, and Dodger Senior Executive Ned Colletti. These exclusive presentations afford LA5 members an opportunity to interact with some of the major influencers in our community.
