Describe the type of business in which your firm engages
I was appointed by the Burbank City Council in 2013 to serve as Commissioner of the Landlord-Tenant Commission and have been reappointed every four years since. This Commission recommends to City Council guidelines for rent increases, mediates disputes between landlords and tenants, and provides tenant referrals to appropriate public and private agencies. The Commission also becomes familiar with landlord-tenant developments in other communities and serves as a medium through which landlords and tenants exchange information, coordinate programs and engage in joint endeavors.

Additionally, I am the owner and manager of income property in Glendale and Montrose, California

What do you hope to get out of your Rotary membership and which committees are you interested in joining?
My family comes from a long line of Rotarians in both Bloomington, Indiana, and Logan, Utah. As the daughter-in-law of a proud Rotarian of over 60 years, as well as the former spouse of a dedicated member of the Logan Rotary Club, I experienced first-hand the incredible benefits and civic generosity of Rotary. Therefore, by joining the prestigious LA5 Rotary Club, I hope to not only serve the Los Angeles community but strengthen my leadership skills and broaden my understanding of the civic rights and duties in the Greater Los Angeles area serving the community that I love. Last but not least, I would like to share with my fellow Rotarians the incredible life lessons and fulfilling experiences that I have enjoyed over the years.
